Late seroconverion?

Hello all!
After my last post I've made some search here and now I am really scared.
I've had a 6 weeks post exposure ab+p24 ag test which came negative and a 12 weeks ab test which also came negative. I was cool until a week ago when the doctor told me I have oral candida. The problem is that it spread to the esofague and I can see it in my throat too and it feels like I have something there and it's really bothering. I read here that this happens when you have problems with the imune sistem and in hiv positive people.
It's hard for me to trust that test now and I'm going to take another one at the six months mark.
Do you think it's possible to be in late seroconvertion?

i have been suffering horribly with mouth issues, caused by my gastrointestinal tract, for 8 years !  the only thing that clears it up is prednisone, which is a steroid...but the prednisone causes thrush.

I DONT HAVE HIV ! ! ! ! !

your test PROVES, without a doubt, that you dont have hiv.

if you are unable to move on from this...you might want to seek professional mental help.  there is also a hiv "anxiety" community forum here at medhelp.  a link is provided in the bottom right hand corner of this page.

Now I have high fever (101 to 104) and some white spots on both my tonsils and swollen limph nodes in my neck.
The candida infection diagnosed as acute stomatitis looks almost the same after 1 week of treatment and I am losing my minds.
How reliable is my 12 weeks negative?

Thanks avonelle38!
It's not that I don't trust you guys here but I probably won't be fine until a six months test. It's less than a month until then and I'll try to be cool.
Thanks again for your support.

Well I can definitely reassure you that it is not caused by HIV! Just trust our judgement and let this go. You have negative test results- you should be out celebrating! You're just fine :) Stop worrying about this and put it behind you!

You're assuming right Avonelle38. But I think I have this candida soon after my exposure. It was then when I first had this strange feeling that i have something in my throat and when I notice something white on my uvula. This is why I think this might be a symphtom.
Thanks for your post!
And thank you Kmar too!

Oral thrush does happen in people with HIV... but it happens WAAAAAAAAY more often in people who do NOT have HIV. Just because you have thrush does not mean you have HIV. You have scientific evidence that you are not infected because you have had negative results at 3 months. You are not a late seroconverter. Honestly, the statement that people could be delayed in seroconverting really is just a myth... it doesn't happen. I've even patients who had cancer and were taking radiation therapy and chemotherapy still test positive within the 3 months. It never takes more than 3 months, especially in regards to someone like you. I am assuming you are not an IV drug user, you are not on chemotherapy, and you do not have a severely compromised immune system. Therefore, your test results are conclusive and you are negative. Relax!
