Little Worried

Dear Experts- about a month back I had an encounter in Jakarta with a hooker at a 5start hotel. It was long oral- unprotected and about 2 minutes protected ( condom). After the episode, I had checked the condom and found intact. To be more sure, further filled the condom with water and no rupture observed.

After the episode, next week I was getting loose stool. May be due to Amoxycylin effect which I was using for dental treatment. Now I am OK. No more staomach infection. In third week from the encounter, I am getting stuffy and running nose, which yet to be recovered. I had recently started swimming, may be I had cught flue.

Most importantly, I would be shifting to Middle East in connection with my job in the month of August and I need to undergo a medical test which will have HIV test as well.

My questions:

1.) What are the chances of getting HIV from the episode.

2.) Do I need to go for testing

3.) Condom protected sex is 100% prevention against HIV if condom is put correctly.

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks.. so HIV is completely ruled out..

I had posted a post in STD forum.. However exposure had taken place about 30 days ago.. I had not experienced anything strange with genitals.. so little bit relax for other STDs.. any way lets see what does experts say..

Yours and mine situation is very same. I had unprotected oral for few minutes and then protected sex for few minutes as well. Unlike you I did not check the condom by filling it with water, however when I observed it in light i did not see any sperms leaking.

But still very unfortunately since then i have been going through anxiety. I try my best to tackle it but still it creeps in. But after my post in this forum i have been feeling much relieved. Expressing definitely helps.
