Lupus and hiv test

Dear Doctor
I am 32 years old .  I have had unprotected vaginal sex with an escort about 2 years ago.

Now I will do hiv test

My question :
I have been taking it daily since two years ago plaquenil and methrotexat to treat lupus. Does it have an effect on HIV test?

I agree.  Since you had unprotected sex, that is a risk.  But do keep in mind that it is low.  It is less than 2 percent chance from a one time situation like this.

Your medication should not affect testing.  Are you still taking it?

No medicine apart from HIV ARV can affect test result.

You can get tested at this point to receive a conclusive result.

Can i know what’s mean hivARV ?
Antiretroviral drugs for HIV, which doesn't apply for you because you are not taking those.
I did a hiv test result elisa  after two year? i recently test negative but i take plaquenil and methrotaxat medisine for lupus disess . My had sex unprotect with a escort  and About three months later i had what i believe were hiv symptoms(sores in the mouth, painful joints/ muscles, night sweats discoloration in the mouth).and now it is still
It is unfortunate that you still mistakenly believe the sores prove you have hiv, but the good news is your test has conclusively proven you don't have hiv. You should stop believing your personal diagnosis of hiv and go back to your normal life. You would have been hospitalized if those sores were the onset of hiv problems.
2 years is a long time to waste in fear, so if you can't stop worrying right now you should see a therapist for a one on one conversation to help you live happy again.
Thank you
