Lymphocytosis

Hi guys,
I had sexual contact 4 years ago (2012). since that date, I had ARS symptoms. I have swollen lymph nodes all over my body. I did HIV test 3 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 year and the final test was last month. I also did two blood donation after 1 year and two years after the incident. However, my lymph nodes get worse day after day. Now I feel pain in my gum when I eat and can't drink cold drinks for 1 year. I decided to do CBC (complete blood count) and the test showed that I have mild lymphocytosis. My question is what STD that can cause mild lymphocytosis other than HIV? and are the complications that it can cause if it is not treated?

Hi suffer12,
See HIV test after 4 years is more than conclusive. You've overtested way beyond too much time. Now regarding your lymph nodes. It could be you got mono or cmv  after that contact. Now can you tell me was it like they were all swollen during your so called "ars period"  and remained swollen after that. Or they were getting swollen even after that ars period. If yes after how much time since exposure you had  new lymph nodes swelling up. I also got something after my exposure and after 14 months I'm also getting new lymph nodes getting swollen and I'm also negative. It probably is nothing to worry about but you should get it checked by your doctor.

Test results trumps symptoms anytime. If you had HIV, your test results would have shown. You are HIV negative.  Having a high count of lymphocytes usually happens after an illness, or a sign of your body fighting back an infection. But it also can indicate a more serious underlying problem. There are many reasons for this. Please work closely with your doctor to identify your problem.

Is there any STD other than HIV that can cause lymphocytosis?
As I said, there can be many reasons, good to work closely with your doctor.
