Multiple Sex Encounter with CSW (protected and unprotected)

hello doctor and everyone

in early 2017 (january to march) i have multiple encounter with CSW and 2 more in june and august (1 each month). i have both protected and unprotected vaginal sex. the unprotected sex is done one 3 different women in (2 girl in feb - march period) and 1 girl in mid of august 2017. until my last exposure i have not noted any differences in my health (i'm sure i was sick, but it was more from lack of sleep, and stress from work rather than std). but in the last exposure 1 hour after sex (yes, it at most 1 hour after 2 round of unprotected vaginal sex) i got sick for 2 week (dry throat, cough, flu, etc) because of this i was haunted with STD (haunted because after last exposure i got multiple sickness like flu)(especially hiv) until now.

at january (almost 5 month after last exposure) i finally do hiv test with rapid antibody test (blood from vein, not finger) with vdrl (rpr) for siphylis, which is both come at non - reactive. and then 6.5 month after last exposure i got CMIA hiv ag/ab combo (fda approved one) come with result 0.07 (which is  3month? in this case is hep C really cause seroconversion late (this theory at least have wikipedia and med journal as backer)?
2) in my case what do you think the result of this test? i'm worried sick about this (and even stressed myself in the process) because thinking about false negative result.
3) for your information i think i'm not user of IV drug, not on chemo, and i think i'm not in immunosupressive (because i actually healed from flu with only resting, after i got the second confirm test at 6.5 month, but now after stress  i got sick again)
4) maybe this because of my over anxiety, but i need reassurance for my health, can you give updated info about hiv window period and the cause that make the seroconversion delayed? i think many of human population in the world have this problem, and when you wrote the updated info (in 2018) can make their anxiety go away.
5) last but not least, can i move on with my life now?

thanks you, and i hope best for reply

Any test for HIV is 100% conclusive after 3 months of the last exposure. Therefore, your test results are conclusive, you do not have HIV. No answer your questions specifically,

1 No, Hep C does not affect the HIV results
2.Conclusive
3.6.5 months test is more than conclusive
4. If you have got a 4th generation test done, it eliminates the possibility of late seroconversion because the test also picks and detects p-24, a protein associated with the virus and that remains in the blood stream of the infected person for several months.  You are not a case of late seroconversion because you are a normal person with a healthy immune system
5. Yes you can and you should.

thank you for your fast reply diver58, it really alleviate my anxiety a lot.

so it mean the "rare case" that documented in journal and quoted in wikipedia is on older gen test, and the 3rd & 4th gen test is more than enough right to make up with latest 3 month window period?

seriously what make me worried most is that i infected my gf (because usually after "intimate time" (and no sex of course) at least one of us usually got sick).

btw i forgot to wrote that, i did test for hepatitis B (non -reactive result) but not test for hepatitis C.  that why i consider the late seroconversion case because i read that co infection can delay hiv window period until 1 year (in case this statement is need to reconsider your answer for my case)

thanks again
and is it normal to sick after doing sex? it haunt me because i literally sick after sex in my last exposure in august, this phenomenon also make me think this is seroconversion sickness (but it ruled out after 2 test i have done) but still i cannot bug off this thinking till now, can you explain this? or have you get this at some point of ur life? (for information i done it on morning 9 or 10 am if i'm not wrong till 12 am, with little breakfast or no breakfast i forgot)
This is what I found on the CDC website and please correct me if I am wrong. It states that the 90 day window period only applies if you are testing for antibodies only. Or if you did the finger prick test. Blood drawn from vein within 18 to 45 days using a 4th gen test is pretty accurate.

A nucleic acid test (NAT) can usually tell you if you are infected with HIV 10 to 33 days after an exposure.

An antigen/antibody test performed by a laboratory on blood from a vein can usually detect HIV infection 18 to 45 days after an exposure.

Antigen/ antibody tests done with blood from a finger prick can take longer to detect HIV (18 to 90 days after an exposure). When the goal is to tell for sure that a person does not have HIV, an antigen/antibody test performed by a laboratory on blood from a vein is preferred.

Antibody tests can usually take 23 to 90 days to reliably detect HIV infection. Most rapid tests and home tests are antibody tests. In general, antibody tests that use blood from a vein can detect HIV sooner after infection than tests done with blood from a finger prick or with oral fluid.

As our members have stated, you should trust your negative test results as they are conclusive.  We are now closing this discussion.

@DragonPulse : so do you think 2 case from this co-infection is false? https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/4607/8313df2eb0ef34337cdcc2c54036df3fa3e9.pdf
in that publication there is even people that got seroconversion for HIV for about 13 month because of co-infection. as biologist dont u have a link or reference that someone research on this?

there is one question though how good is hiv test on 2018 comparing to 2000-2005 as from information that i know, the 4th gen for hiv is available at least in 2001 (or earlier) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC88179/

please clarify this with some of your experience about this window period fiasco. please dont throw the guideline cdc for me, believe me i think for past this 7 month (before my second test on 6.5month) i already read many thing about hiv and stuff like that, every night... it really hard on me that day, and then stumble across this co-infection thing make my fear and anxiety comeback again.

btw my other post is deleted again... why it seem every new post about hiv and hcv co infection is "terminated".

thanks for read my rant tho, at least writing and asking in the forum with you guys alleviate my anxiety. (sorry from broken grammar, english is not my first language)

sincerely waiting for you guys answer.

The only medical problem that could postpone an accurate result is receiving a treatment like chemotherapy. That's it. Stop googling as the only think you are getting is more anxiety and stress.

@noriko619 : i know about 45 day and 90 day window period, but what i ask is about possibilities hiv seroconversion delayed when hiv and hcv co infection, because this topic is ambiguous, some expert said it will delay to one year or more, when some other is said it will not delayed the seroconversion. That why i got anxiety and need to know a new updated information about this topic (as what i found on i ternet still said hiv/hcv co-infection will delay the seroconversion)

Hope there is someone know about this, and give clarification to make peace my mind.

Thank you

Late seroconversion is a myth. Those people that a long time ago were suspected to have a late seroconversion, actually had other sexual risks which made experts think the process of seroconversion took a longer time for them.
