My doc and the body both say my 6 month.......

My doctor and the body website both say my six month antibody test is a good sign but due to my persistant untreatable symptoms that I may need to test to a year. You guys here seem to be firm to the 3 month window for antibody only test. I've also tested negative for all other stds at 6 months and all heps. Just DESPERATLY need help getting hiv off my mind. The girl I had the one night unprotected stand with wont get tested. So after taking your guys advice from what I've read on here from searching hours I had sex with my gf again after my 5 negative hiv antibody test out till 26 weeks after the exposure now she is starting with the same symptoms!!! According to my doctor who tested my immune system he says its normal. So how am I not producing antibodies??

5 negative tests and you STILL cannot accept that you don't have HIV?  That is indicative of an anxiety issue.  Get yourself some help.

The tests today are so sensitive that MOST new infections are picked up within mere weeks...pretty much by the 6 week mark, most infections will be detected.  Now, of course the OFFICIAL guideline is still 3 months.  You would NOT need to test beyond 3 months and whoever is telling you that is NOT familiar with HIV and the tests out there.

So how am I not producing antibodies?? .

Because you don't HAVE HIV!

Please, seek some professional help.  It's simply not normal to not be able to accept something when you have the scientific proof (5 times over) proving you do not have HIV.

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
