Neck pain?

Hi everyone!
Well, 44 days ago I had unprotected anal sex (no ejaculation though). 3 days before that I had developed a mild sore throat that I assumed was some kind of allergy. Two weeks after my sexual encouter, a terrible pain on the right side of my neck developed. My sore throat got worse one week after that neck pain. I also had this mild fever (37.3 C), nasal congestion, watery eyes and sneezing. All of my symptoms gradually disappeared in a few days, all except the nasal congestion and the neck pain. Five days later I was with a sore throat again and also productive cough, mild fever (37.3), nasal congestion and this neck pain that never disappeared. It's been 2 weeks since that and now some of my muscles ache, the pain in my neck is still there. I haven't noticed any swollen lymph nodes. Is it possible to have painful lymph nodes without swelling? Could all this be HIV related??

I also feel pain in my knees, near my elbows and shoulders. I found on the internet that there are lymph nodes in those locations... that and my neck pain is driving me crazy...

Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. You should be tested for having unprotected anal sex. 3 months post exposure will give you a conclusive test result.
