Need PEACE

In December my HIV scare started with a swollen lymph node, dierrea, ulcers, thrush, rash, muscle pain and others.

I got a rapid test done at four and six weeks. Both negative.

My exposure was receptive oral so I am happy to know that the risk wad minimal.

Now I have bumps all over my penis head so I'm thinking HPV. I also have skin tag looking growths under my tounge.

BUT, today I see my gfs tounge is whiter than mine but she hasn't noticed. How can we BOTH have thrush if I'm negative... I'm going nuts.

You came in here to get advice. You were given advice as to your risk and were told you had no HIV risk and do not need testing;

You admit of being scared about this, even though there is no need for you to be scared about HIV infection.

Then you get upset because you're not getting an answer about a six week test. You wouldn't like the answer if you had a real risk....but you did not have a risk.

Hey Teak.

I see you've been answering HIV questions for years so I assume you know what you're talking about. I have a question. In all your years of dealing with scared people, have you ever seen a six week neg turn positive? I tested two days after six weeks. Again, I'm aware it's not conclusive I was just wondering.

You never had an exposure and thrush is not HIV specific.

Well I gave the oral sex. And I thought my scare was over until I noticed my GF had oral thrush too.

It can't be a coincidence.

Your symptoms could be caused by many things. But based on your posted event of receipt of oral sex it is not HIV.
