Need some reassurance and a few comforting words

Hello,

Let me start by saying thank you to all of the members of this forum who are providing a greatly needed service to those of us who need to better understand the risk and science behind HIV transmission.

My story: Visited a strip club where the dancers are basically escorts.  Received a hand-job and also got some vaginal secretion on my fingers (mutual masturbation).  Also proceeded to rub my penis with the same hand that had vaginal secretions on it.  There may have been some contact between the head of my penis and her vagina, but most definitely NO penetration (this is the part that worries me the most).

Dr. HHH said that my risk was very low to zero, which was very comforting (although the mere possibility is what is hounding me).  Is there any risk of transmission here based on my specific situation?

I know the guilt is what is killing me, I don't have any symptoms and feel great although I just had a routine blood test and my Lymphocyte% was 0.2 points below the cutoff for normal so my mind went reeling again.

What do you suggest in terms of getting over the anxiety?  I am thinking about getting tested next week just for reassurance (3.5 weeks) although I'm still nervous about the result.  What type of test to you recommend?

Thank you all so much for your help.

You're welcome. Hey, I wake up everyday and I can't complain to much. Can't ask for much more. Just make sure you use latex condoms and use plenty of lube for anal and vaginal sex and you won't get this ****.

Thank you Teak.  In my heart I know that there was no risk, I've read about frottage and know that significant amounts of virus and optimal conditions are needed for transmission, yet I keep thinking what if I am an exception.

By the way, as an aside, I want you to know how much I admire you and the others who consistently post very thoughtful and compassionate advice on this forum.  I wish there were awards for such work.

Thanks.
