Sex with CSW IV Drug User

- CSW was white female in NYC, with full body tattoos. She reported having done private escort work in the past, but now works at a brothel.
- CSW appeared "strung out" and fell asleep at one point, but said she was just exhausted. Although was verbally coherent. She also had some bruises on her thigh.
- Unprotected insertive oral sex.
- Protected insertive vaginal sex. Wore a condom, however she didn't get it from a package. It looked like a new rolled condom, ready to go on the table. However, I became limp. I didn't see the condom slip, but it may have.

The presumption is that she is an IV user, which I think is a cautious but reasonable inference based on her presentation.

How does that factor modify transmission risk of the sexual acts described?

Thank you, and happy new year to all.

Thanks curfew. My last question. I guess the only thing is what if the conform slipped a bit at all? Because I got limp, it probably became loose, but it didn't come off of the head. Just maybe loose a bit. So what about her vaginal fluids touching the sides of my penis?

Not at all, unless you shared IV drug works with her.   If she was HIV positive and you used a condom, and the condom did not fail, NOTHING else increases your risk.  You had zero risk.

I guess I'm wondering what difference it makes to my risk from my exposure even with the condom. Am I more likely to get HIV because of it?

But what of her possible IV drug usage?

If your condom didn't break, and you had it on in the end, you had no risk.
CSWs use condoms to protect THEMSELVES and you.
