Dudas para realizar una prueba definitiva

Hi guys and a good day for all Medhelp members. I'm sorry to walk around here yet. the truth is that I need to do the test to eliminate my fears and doubts about the needle and syringe without wrapping when entering the room
laboratory tests When you say that the Antigen / Antibody duo test is conclusive at 28 days, does this count for all types of exposures, whether sexual or blood? . I plan to take the test on March 11 since
The syringe was on February 12. I plan to add a Quantitative real-time PCR by Cobas Taqman for greater security. I have 3 questions If the duo test is conclusive in 95 to 97 or 98% in 28 days, jointly do a PCR and
Does a Duo give 100% reliability? or it is not so. The other a PCR test which would be the difference in window period between one of DNA and one of RNA or are they the same? And the last question the Cobas Taqman PCR is for RNA or DNA?
Thank you

We are all sorry you are going through a rough time and are closing this discussion as you do not have an HIV concern.

Thanks Mike for your words and your understanding. If I want to get out of this, and I hope to receive enough help to achieve it because I just couldn't, the mind is too powerful, sometimes irrational situations seem to transform into
undeniable truths for a mind as tormented as the one I am having these days. The psychologist said that nobody has been infected with HIV in this way, that nurses sometimes open the syringe wrapper
before the patient enters, but that does not imply that it is reused material, or that she is a psychopath who wants to infect all people who go to the laboratory with any disease, and there were no visible blood remains
neither in the syringe or the needle, therefore the logical thing is that it was new material. Curfew x said the same thing a few days ago, contagion is not possible that way. So I'll be trying to block that thought from my mind

You never had a risk. Keep working with your psychologist for accepting the fact that you were never exposed instead of wasting your time and money on tests. If testing could get you sailing to the shore, you would certainly have been so far but look what you've done, now you're in a new dilemma, pretty classic one - HIV RNA or DNA PCR?!

You don't need either, see your therapist and discuss your anxiety disorders to overcome them. This forum can't help you with your issues since we only support people with HIV transmission risks and you don't have a relevant concern.

If the truth is that I recognize that I was quite stupid to do so many tests and not trust what the experts told me that I had no risk and that exams at 6 and 13 weeks were already definitive. but I continued because mentally
I was blocked and shattered by my guilt and fear. And it turns out that by not listening or understanding the advice, I ended up doing several other tests, and arriving at a place where they didn't open the needle and syringe in front of my eyes, but
that they had it out of their packaging when I entered the room and that only wreaked more havoc on my tormented mind, and that was how I ended up in another dilemma like you say PCR DNA or RNA. Someone told me out there that I must be very bad
mentally to believe that someone in the field of health will pretend to harm me or infect me with something. that there are no psychopaths or deranged people in those places, who are only there to help. The psychologist said that in my state it is
normal distrust, not because it is something that really happens, but because it is an irrational fear that is in my mind and that leads me to think the worst.

You had zero risk and there is no reason to test.  Instead of wasting money on tests for a disease that you do not have, you should consider using the money for therapy for anxiety.

No test in the world is 100% for any disease.  Ag/Ab tests are among the most reliable on the market for any disease.  PCR by Cobas Taqman is not a test.  It is a well-known, trusted brand name of a test used to detect a variety of diseases.

thanks Curfew x for the quick response, so you say it makes no sense to take the test? What happens is that there are days that I think that I really did not have any risk and there are others in which I worry too much, it is because
that I thought I needed the test to give my mind peace of mind. As for the treatment for anxiety I am in that, a week ago with a psychologist. I think he had a confusion with cobas taqman. I know it's a
roche analyzer, I imagine then that it can perform any of the 2 RNA or DNA PCR and seen sites and responses that say that the Vih RNA is detectable in a PCR at 7-11 days and almost at the same time the proviral DNA. but what do I know
They reach the highest levels between 20 and 30 days, so I planned to take the 2 tests.
thank you Touch of is x for the fast response, what you say makes no sense to perform the test? what happens is that there are days that I think that you really had no risk and there are others that I worry too much, it is by that I believed that I needed the test to give you peace of mind to my mind.
