Hi
Dec 7 received oral sex from known person. After she finished I had abrasion on penis. After finishing I washed the affected area. The next day I got nervous of course and started taking propolis for about 25 days straight. One pill a day. I developed a rash but I have read that propolis could of been the cause of this. At exactly 29 days I performed a 4th gen test and HIV RNA Qualitative TMA test. Both negative. Around 6 weeks from 7 Dec, I developed three painful canker sores on my inner cheek. Immediately after this I got a slight fever that lasted 4 days around 99.3 F, sore throat, joint pain and cough with phlegm. I went to the doctor and they tested for the Flu and strep. Both were negative. The cough with phlegm lasted for about three weeks. After this I got 5 more canker sores. Lately I have been feeling a burning sensation on the palate and pressure on the lower jaw where it meets the upper jaw. I have been anxious and nervous about the possibility of HIV infection. About three weeks ago the parotid gland saliva duct became swollen, no pain. I understand is been said multiple times before that HIV is not transmitted from receiving oral sex and symptoms are not a barometer whether the person is infected or not. I guess I am looking for reassurance. Forgot to mention that I just did an antibody test at 85 days. I am currently waiting for the results.
