Oral sex with small bleeding cut on penis

Hi all,

11 weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex from a female of unknown status in Bangkok (not a prostitute). During the act she pulled down on my penis (I am uncircumsized) and it caused a tear/cut under the foreskin. She continued for 1-2 minutes. I didn't ejaculate. I noticed the tear/cut was bleeding a little bit afterwards and since then I have been scared beyond belief. I did not notice any blood in her mouth, but my mind is going crazy over the 'what ifs' - I am picturing a scenario where she might have had blood in her mouth that entered my tear/cut.

My fear of catching HIV from this encounter is consuming all my thoughts :-(

I tested negative after 15 days and was told to come back after 90 days for another test. This news scared me even more.

Please can someone tell me the risk of catching HIV from such an exposure?

Woohoo! I got my negative test back today. This whole ordeal has made me aware of the good work being done by the people in this forum and on other sites. I would like to make a donation to the fight against HIV/AIDS - does anyone know a good one to support?

thanks 'inthecorneralone'!  I'm just stressed out over the fact that I will get my 12 week ELISA results tomorrow. I'm praying and hoping I will be able to say 'woohoo' tomorrow and put my anxiety to rest permanently.

I've read the doctor's reply to jonnybgood and they are very reassuring - but would the same risk assesment result apply to my situation?  Since I was on the receiving end and not the giving.

I'd appreciate any replies so I may move on with my life.

Sorry - but my mind keeps playing tricks on me. I spend hours everyday reading this and other sites. Are you saying I shouldn't worry AT ALL?

Saliva is not infectious. Saliva has a dozen protein and enzymes that inhibit HIV transmission.
