NO RISK AT ALL... Since he's on meds..even if any astronomical chance to get HIV is more & more reduced. Relax..I bet you don't acquire HIV from the incident you described.Dr. HHH, the real expert may suggest you to meet a psychatrist to relieve your tensions. Next time be careful.
Thank you all for the coments and the posts. You have made my day a little easyer now. I still think I am going to go get tested in a cupple of weeks just for peace of mind.
you dont need to test...you NEVER had a risk.
So how long should I wait to get tested? And what kind of test should I have done?
There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD
"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Please educate yourself about the real risks. If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. " DR HANSFIELD
"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..." DR HOOK
"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK
in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

Theoretical only, no proved cases. Safe sex means no bare penis inside another person's vagina, rectum, or mouth. Nothing else matters!
medhelp doctors saying what i'm saying. so my question is not off criteria.
do you tell the students that you speak to hiv is no risk for oral?
Oral sex is not a risk of contracting HIV. Period..
I can't comment on what the CDC say. Thats not my place. However, I can tell you and perhaps if you were to read through the expert forums, including the international ones, you would better educate yoursefl to the fact that oral sex does not (and why it does not) pose a risk for HIV infection.
Hopefully it would also stop you from replying with unhelpful comments.
Wrong. Oral sex is ins't a low risk. There is no risk at all.
You never did anything to put yourself at risk.
