swollen lymph nodes

hello to everyone .. i am a 23 year old (male) ..from my fifteen years i am sexual active .. i had sex with a lot of prostitutes .. always with condom ( sometimes blowjob without condom) .. at November 3rd i had a sore throat and pain in my left ear .. (No fever or other symptom). the symptoms got away after 4-5 days .. but i had also swollen lymph node at my left side of the neck (not very big) and an other one at the right side of my neck (i think is bigger from the other at left side). i also noticed and a tiny node at my left armpit .. today is 5/12/11 and the lymph nodes are still there .. i am terrified and sometimes i think that i am HIV positive :( .. what are your opinion ?? all answers are welcome (specialized or not)

Trust me, symptoms means nothing, i had a risky encounter, and i got every symptoms written on the internet, i tested negative at 3 month, if it was protected, you never had a risk, even if you have slept with a 1000 prostitutes. Take care!

Swollen Nodes is something to see a Dr about if they are truly swollen. Just them alone really has nothing to do with HIV.

thank you very much my friend for your answer .. i am not a drug user and i never had unprotected anal or vaginal .. but i had sex with a lot of prostitutes and i am afraid if something went wrong .. and now i have these swollen lymph nodes for over a month .. i did a search in google about swollen lymph nodes and most sites say that is a symptom of HIV (and a lot of other illnesses of course) .. sorry if i am tiresome .. what is your opinion for my swollen lymph nodes as i described them at my first post ??

Dont ever go by symptoms. They can be very misleading. If you think you had a risk. Get tested.

Always use condoms.

You can't have hiv by oral, the only way to be infected is with UNPROTECTED anal, vaginal, or if you are an iv drug user. If you don't fall in these categories, you are safe, symptoms means nothing without a real risk!
