Oraquick gum swab test

I had unprotected vaginal intercourse 27 days ago with a woman in her 30's of unknown status.  I did not climax during this act.  I have never had an std.  I took the oraquick test today, 27 days after possible exposure, and it was negative.  Recently my neck and back have been really sore and i had a quick case of nausea and diarrhea two nights ago that only lasted for a couple of hours.  How accurate is the oraquick at 27 days?  Are my symptoms consistent with hiv seroconversion?

Yes, the home oraquick test is the same rapid test as the clinical test.

A positive result with this test does not mean that you are definitely infected with HIV, but rather that additional testing should be done in a medical setting.
A negative result with this test does not mean that you are definitely not infected with HIV, particularly when exposure may have been within the previous 3 months.

Have another test at 6 weeks. It will be fairly accurate then.

Thanks joggen.  Since it is the same as clinical oraquick rapid test what is the accuracy at 27 days?  Is it 90pct or lower?

Thanks USA.  General consensus on reliability of at-home oraquick swab versus swab tests administered by a professional?  Is it the same rapid swab test you would get in a clinical setting?
