Please Help i am scared.

Hi,

I went in  for a rapid hiv testing at a local center, i explained them my exposure ( touched private parts of a stripper and then accidently touched my mouth ).

The lady at the center advised me i do not need a testing, but i asked for one and they gave me.

When they gave me the testing the lady did not wear any gloves and i saw some gauze already on the table, after pricking they kept the gauze on my hand for the bleeding. I am really scared if the gauze already had infected blood on it from previous testing and it came into contact with my pricked finger with had blood.

What are chances of contracting HIV by this?

It was 2 years ago. Now i have some black patches on my body and i googled it and found it as kaposi scaroma. The patches are not inflammed or thick, they r just black and look like dirt. I have them for nearly 3 months now.s
I have not lost any pounds nor i had major illness last 2 years.

I am scared if i have aids now since its been 2 years since the testing.

Can i take a rapid test. i heard if u have aids it would not show up in rapid hiv test

Please help me i am really scared.

HIV/AIDS can only live outside of the body for minutes...i HIGHLY doubt it would be on the gauze. As with the stripper part i don't think there has been a case of transmission through touching...You need to have the virus IN your blood stream to contract it, touching your mouth wont cause you to get it UNLESS you had sores or open wounds/cuts.

the best way to find out if your positive is to get tested again, this time at your healthcare providor.

(im a EMT, FYI)
