From the last day I took the pep .. on day 24 there are glands in the neck on both sides and muscle pains 4 days later test combo negtive

You are right to say that where we have taken a DUO immediately or shortly after completion of PEP we have not then seen a change from a negative to a positive except where there has been another exposure in the interval where we have been able to firmly identify the other exposure as being the cause.
I can understand where he is coming from with this although I would recommend that people have an ultra-sensitive PCR RNA test done after 7 days post completing PEP. The whole point about PEP is that  is designed to subdue or prevent viral replication. If PEP fails then you can argue that PCR ; antibody ; and or p24 antigen testing will be positive. However the data on this is incomplete as yet. Therefore my logic is to do a PCR RNA test at 7 days after completing PEP followed by a 4th generation combined HIV 1 and 2 antibody test and p24 antigen at 14 days after completion and then to stick to the guidelines which say to test 4 months after completing PEP. In my experience, chances of an antibody test yielding a positive after the first two tests detailed above yielding a negative are zero.

All your tests were too early. Wait until 4 weeks after you finished the PEP to test with a combo again. Don't worry about not taking with food because that is a past event that you can't change - all that matters is if you test negative you don't have to worry.
"Anal fracture of the condom" Do you mean you had anal sex and the condom broke? If so did it rip apart down the seam?
