Possible HIV Exposure

Good afternoon,

On 9/15 I had unprotected oral, and protected penetrative anal sex with a CSW who I am certain is an IV drug user.

The 3nd week after exposure I've been feeling achy, and am experiencing diarrhea and just not feeling well. The condom used was provided by her, and I don't know how old it was, or if she may have torn the condom upon opening the package but it didn't seem to break or burst. The sex probably lasted 10 minutes if that, but I'm concerned there may have been a small tear in it that I could potentially not have noticed.

The following day I had unprotected sex (vaginal) with my girlfriend, and have done so 4 times after said exposure. I'm concerned because we have a young daughter who my girlfriend breastfeeds. On the 17th day following the exposure, my daughter had a high fever, has developed a rash that kind of resembles hives on her body, and is having diarrhea I'm concerned that I have contracted HIV from this woman, and have passed it to my girlfriend through sexual contact, who has transmitted it to my daughter by breastfeeding. I'm so worried and it was a terrible lapse in judgement that I am feeling very guilty about.

My daughter is my everything in life, and I cannot believe I would be stupid enough, and selfish enough to put my family at risk. I don't have insurance and cannot get tested, tomorrow will mark the 3rd week after exposure. If I take an Oraquick swab test next Friday (4th week after exposure) and the test is negative, will it confirm I have not contracted HIV? What're the chances I'd pass it that quickly to my girlfriend after exposure, and how quickly would she transmit it to my Daughter by breastfeeding.

This is something I will never do again, as the overwhelming guilt, and risk of jeopardizing my family is to much to bare. Any information would be so helpful and I really do appreciate it. I've been reading the responses from Dr.Hook this whole week. Thank you so much.

In response to Anxiousnomore's comment, pertaining to the CSW condom usage. I read 2 reviews after the exposure on a review sight for these workers, and she didn't require a condom on multiple occasions. When I texted her after the fact asking her status She ignored me. So it appears she doesn't require a condom if ya pay her enough.

Yes I have been looking at Dr. Hook's responses, but I needed to ask my own, subjective question. The reaction probably because of guilt/anxiety. I can't imagine doing that to my young daughter. The time you all commit to ths forum is very much appreciated, and `I'm sure it feels good to try and help someone as much as you can over the internet.

Thank you all for your comments and whatevdr additional feedback you have.

If a condom fails it is a large rip that leaves only the ring at the base and the rest is hanging in fragments so both of you would have noticed that if it happened.
You don't need to worry.

If you have been reading responses from Dr. Hook, you surely know by now that he, and everyone else, will tell you you had NO RISK.  Oral is not a risk, nor is any kind of protected, penetrative sex.

Any test you take will be reliable and accurate as you had zero risk for HIV.

You are safe from HIV because you can't get HIV when you used the condom, and micro tears are a myth. The csw wanted to be protected from her clients so it is hard to imagine she would supply a bad condom. If a condom fails it is a large rip that leaves only the ring at the base and the rest is hanging in fragments so both of you would have noticed that if it happened.

HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also instantly in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from oral. It doesn't matter if you and they were bleeding at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal sex or sharing needles that you inject with but you didn't do that so you had no risk. This sentence is all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV.
Even with blood, lactation cuts, rashes, burns etc air and saliva do not allow inactivated virus to infect from  oral. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established so nothing you can add will make your situation a risk.

you don't have Exposure you have protected sex and protected sex is safe there is no risk of hiv..and oral sex is not an hiv issue.so you don't have hiv and if you don't have hiv you can't infect your girlfriend and your baby..the fever and rash does not belong to hiv there's any other illnesses...
hiv due test is conclusive after 4 week you can take ora kwick swab test at 6 week..if ora kwick swab test negative at 6 week you can concider you have mostly hiv negative..
