Possible HIV infection--Comments Welcome

I had a possible exposure.  I used a condom when having sex with a male.  I was the insertive partner.  I am not sure if the condom broke or not due to alcohol.

I took a HIV RNA at 13 & 22 days, both negative
HIV 4th Gen at 27/28 days, negative.

Symptoms:
-Flu-like after 14 days for 1 week
-Groin pain, 7 days after for 4 days
-Joint pain, 28 days after (hip/knee/back)

Should I ignore the symptoms and move on and rely on the test results?

as you've been told, your tests are conclusive. you do not know anyone's  "credentials" regardless of which one of us answers, so why even come on here and ask of you wont listen? symptoms are not used to diagnose HIV, they could be from a million other things. you also would have known of the condom was broken regardless of how drunk you were. if you think only more "time and testing " has been your answer this whole time, why even ask advice?

The test results are reliable.
Symptoms dont affect test results.
I believe that there are other causes of your symptoms.

Condom didn't break, otherwise it would be a large rip down the seam and it would hang in tatters and be hard to remove.  4gen is conclusive at 28 days. Your symptoms are in your imagination from fear of dying, which isn't happening. You interact with others who cough on your lips and door knobs so flu is to be expected at any time.

Would your assessment change if the condom broke?
I am sure you understand what conclusive means so reread.
Thanks for the quick reply and the multiple replies. Perhaps it's stress.  I am not so worried about the flu-like symptoms.  Getting sick can happen at any time.  It's the joint pain that I worry about.

Here is an additional question.  Would the presence of early symptoms make a RNA or 4th gen test reactive?  The virus would be affecting my bod and therefore it should be detectable by either or both tests with the RNA detecting the virius itself, and the Dou test picking up on P24.
Conclusive does not mean depending on whatever new idea you can come up with. Perhaps you don't know the meaning of conclusive after all?
Besides, you didn't have a risk to test for.
Thank you for your assurances.  I hope they are correct.

I appreciate the comments, I really do, however, without knowing your credentials I can not rest easy.  Time and more testing is the only true indicator.
Talk to your doctor and a therapist. You have no medical training so it is unrealistic for you to have so much confidence in your ability to diagnose disease, and none is the 40 year old science that you had zero risk, and none in the scientists who created the scientific test you took but won't believe..
