Post Negative - Weird Mouth Issues

Has anyone on here consistently tested negative but still have weird mouth issues - white roof of mouth, white tongue, burning tongue, bad taste in mouth, strange raised spots on inside cheeks of mouth, sebacuous spots on lip.  My "lame" regular doctor looks at these and says I dont see any problem with your mouth... duh!  Idiot.  What have others done?  Did you go see an infectious disease doctor?  I think I have a fungus or something - it started 2-3 weeks post last sexual exposure (oral only).  I've tested negative at 7wks, 12wks, 13 wks so far.  What should I do next?

You can NEVER assume that just because you wore a condom you cannot be infected.
Condoms do slip off and weird **** may happen. I got chlamydia spite wearing a condom or had a false positive.

Dude, it really doesn't matter, sorry. I had a 12 week negative Unigold rapid blood. That's the key one and the only one that really matters.

Which tests and at what intervals have you had?  I had two oral swab tests followed by a blood test.

OK, I have mild geo tongue, intermittent abdominal discomfort (which has faded) RIGHT in the spleen/liver region (unlike what I've felt before), petechiae like dots popping up every so often (barely noticeable - but I know they are not in my head. I feel a little ***** or something like that and I notice a new one pop up right in the area) - there aren't too too many (maybe 20-30 total). Also vision has been slightly off; some floaters and longer lasting retinal 'printing' (I dunno, when you stare at a light, the image burned on your eye). I also have noticed more pimples and seem to be more tired. I have received a 12 week (conclusive) negative result. I am beyond HIV as well. I'm not trying to get into a 'symptom' pissing match....just letting you know I'm going through similar stuff, brother.

So what do you plan to do post negative testing with weird symptoms that don't seem to be going away?  They are not a result of worrying and anxiety - I'm past all that - believe me I was a serious mental case for a while.

Dude, I'm in the same boat.

I'm not that anxious after the negative tests; I am concerned about the remaining weird symptoms.  I was a wreck before the negative tests.

sorry for the thread jumps... I was reading the response from HIV 24 about testing... then I deliberately jumps in...
Anyway, as for me... I started having weird mouth issue (similar to yours...) but once I overcome my anxiety a bit by a bit... it started to be better... try to reduce your anxiety.. do something so you won;t think about this at all...

The N&S comment should be deleted from this thread.. why do people change the meaning of threads in the middle.... can't they start their own thread?

Jaguar is right.

You don't have to worry about protected sex because it is PROTECTED.

You have to only worry if the condom breaks/fails. Otherwise, "exposure" as you keep saying, is nonexistent.

We are not doctors here. If you are concerned, of course go to a doctor. Stop looking for diagnosis over the internet. Get a CBC if ya, get an enema for all we care!

But what does one do with symptoms (above) that weren't there before the May 8th encounter?  There has to be something behind them.

What is the conclusive test?
12+ weeks, 9 weeks? what are the different?
2 of my friend had an exposure for protected vaginal and protected oral.
One has 12 weeks and 4 days hiv test and come out non reactive...
Another one has 9 weeks test (he did not c*u*m)...
Both with escorts... are their test good enough?

What you need to know NOW is that HIV isn't your problem. Your HIV test at 13 week is conclusive. Oral sex is an extremely low risk anyways.

Do your simptoms have something to do with HIV? Nope.

Yep. I contracted geographic tongue about 6-7 days after 'exposure' (which wasn't really an exposure in the first place - like 95% of the posters here, of course). It's scary stuff, for sure. Go to an ID if ya want, it's probably not worth your time. You are conclusively negative, of course. If your MD says you're cool, you should probably believe him/her. I do not believe I have HIV; I had a 12 wk negative (with some other weird 'symptoms' as well). You're cool as far as HIV is concerned though.
