Protected Oral Sex

Hello,

About 3-4 weeks ago I had gone to an Asian massage parlor and received a protected blowjob with a condom on. I have received oral sex in the past from Commercial Sex Workers all with condoms on. I want to know what is my HIV risk for receiving a blowjob with a condom on and what would the risk be as well if I had not worn a condom and received the blowjob unprotected. I do have HPV and Herpes, however, I have not had an outbreak whatsoever. I did not know I had HPV and Herpes until years later.

Thank you.

One more question, what is the HIV risk for receiving an unprotected blowjob?

I wanted to ask that since that incident which was 3-4 weeks ago I began to have throat irritation this past Monday. On Tuesday I had a sore throat and a dry cough (I had the dry coughs since last week - here and there). Later on in the night I came down with the chills and a 100 degree fever. It went only to 100.9 (that was it's highest). Within an hour/hour and a half the chills subsided and my fever with the help of Motrin got me down to 99. something. Last night my body temperature was at 98.2. It has since risen to 99.9. I still have the coughs and sore throat. I had some mild body aches, but they were not painful. The body aches are gone, so are the chills. I did not have a rash or night sweats. Does this look like ARS? Would my fever have to be higher? Oh and I also had no abdominal pains. What do you think
Everything I am reporting is accurate. I do think my lymph nodes are swollen though. I had lack of energy also yesterday so with a total of 3 1/2 - 4 days some symptoms come and went.

Hi,
There is no risk of hiv transmission for this incident.
HIV can be transmitted via unprotected vaginal or/and anal penetration, sharing IV works in drugs and from mother to child
Take care
