QRA QUICK - IN HOME TEST at 4 Weeks

Hello everyone.. I know this is silly but I need some feedback. I had unprotected sex about a month ago with another male. He ejaculated inside me and there was a little cut inside me. I got tested with ORA quick at 4 weeks and it was negative. How accurate are these results at 4 weeks? I had fever 3 days after sex and have abdominal pain. I have seen no other symptoms. Today I went to the clinic and got blood tested. I am really scared and wanted to know how accurate would QRA Quick be in 4 weeks. Thank you in advance.

Reassuring but not conclusive. The test is only 91.7% accurate compared to the 99%accuracy of the lab tests. And at 4 weeks it's not conclusive yet.

However, there was a big chance that if you were positive you'd have already tested positive by now.

As I said it's reassuring but not conclusive. A duo test anytime now would be conclusive.

Thank you so much. I’m just scared to see my results from the blood test. How likely do you think my results would change from negative to positive?
Not likely. But again it's not yet conclusive.

What generation test did you get?
2nd generation. Oraquick oral swabs.
2nd gen blood test?
I got the HIV 1/2 Antibody blood test. The ORAQUICK was 2nd generation test, which resulted in negative.
Okay. Dr. HHH and other reputable sources say that a negative antibody test at 4 weeks is at least 90% conclusive. So when you get your negative blood test result back you can be very reassured you do not have HIV. That however would still not be conclusive and you would still need a test at 3 months post exposure.
Hello again, I am still waiting on my blood test results. However I wanted to know if Tinea Versicolor is an rash that could be caused by HIV infection ? during Summer months I have seen Tinea Veriscolor rashes but I am not sure if this is a sign of HIV? Please let me know. Again, Thank you for your help.
