If you are saying that your partner is giving you support and significantly assuring you that he is HIV negative then tell him to test with you .. It is simple .
If he tested out Negative and you have only 2-10 sec penetration.. Then i must say put this behind you and no reason to worry.
But test out at 3 months just to be sure .. And collect your negative result .
Regards.
If you had unprotected penetrative sex then you need to test at 3 months post exposure to obtain your conclusive test result.
I did have anal penetration but it lasted 2-10 seconds
What was the unprotected penetration--oral,vaginal or anal?
You don't know if the poster meant oral or not. You can't make any correct assumptions of the information the OP gave.
''Thing is,there was a brief 2 to 10 second of unprotected penetration''
Where does it say they had anal or vaginal sex? The OP said they didn't have any sexual intercourse.
The OP had a brief 2 to 10 second unprotected penetrative exposure and requires testing.
If you didn't have any ("Yesterday I did not have sexual intercourse with this person I met .") Then you didn't put yourself at risk and don't need testing.
highly unlikely, because of the time,it was very brief and he seems like he is being very supportive.I would recommend an HIV DUO test at 4 weeks and a follow up at 3 months.Expect them both to be negative--all the best.
