REALLY SCARED PLZ HELP !!!

hello Doctor,
Sir I am a 23year old male, I had a brief sexual encounter with another male, wherein I received oral sex from him for about 3 minutes and I ejaculated in his mouth. After this I rushed to the washroom and cleaned my penis with soap and applied aftershave lotion. I have read your previous threads and understand that the risk of exposure to HIV and STD’s is really low considering this was my first experience. However I would like to bring to your notice that prior to the encounter 9 hours earlier I had shaved my pubic hair, but didn’t get any apparent cuts.

After couple of days I had pain in urinating and had Zifi-200 (cifexime) for 5 days which did’nt give any relief, then I switched to cipro 500mg along with some alkelizer which gave me relief. Few days back I had some rashes on my palms for which I took allegra 120mg for 2 days and they vanished, also I applied Betnovate ointment(Fexofinadine). Now the rashes are gone and there are no other symptoms. However I would like to ask you that am I at Greater risk of testing positive given the fact that I SHAVED couple of hours before my encounter, and are these symptoms genuine or could be psychological???

I have been doing extensive reading on the topic but havent been able to get any appropriate answers, PLZ HELP

Regards,
Harry

You should be fine. Teak is more knowledgable on the subject than most people here, if he says there is no risk then chances are there isn't. You're only worrying yourself to death. Most people will worry no matter what is said. Do you NEED to get tested for the situation above? No. If you want peace of mind then have at it and take the test. In the meantime try not to harp on it too much the mind is a powerful tool and you can honestly make yourself have the symptoms if you dwell on the situation too much. If you want to get tested then just wait out the next two months for a conclusive result and do it. Just try to relax and don't post so many times on situations that are considered non risk, people get banned for that. Take care

Today i met the same guy with whom i had my encounter,
so i asked him about his HIV status-he said that he had tested a long time back(which i doubt),
then i offered him to get tested at my expense-then he told me that he didn't need testing and would get a test when he feels like,
then i inquired about his sexual habits, he told me he is only into giving fellatio and foreplay and also had received anal(protected) long time back,
i also inquired about his STD status and to my surprise he totally seemed unaware of STD's!!!
given the scenario of my receptive fellatio(with shaved pubic) encounter with such individual, does my risk level remain same ??? plz help.......plz
do i need testing at 90 days (i have completed 73 days post encounter)

HIV is not transmitted via oral sex. Saliva has over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibit HIV transmission.
