RISK OF HIV

Hello,

I am a male who had protected vaginal intercourse about a month ago, UNTIL the condom slipped off, and was left inside the female. I recognized this immediately and pulled out. I have been in a relationship with her for 11 months, and in September 07 we both tested negative for HIV, and she tested again in December 07 as well, and was negative.

I was wondering if HIV could have been transmitted within those few seconds until i realized the condom was no longer there....and I was also wondering if you performed oral sex on a female, for like 2 minutes and spit anything that could have been in your mouth, if you could recieve HIV that way?

The GU clinic I attended had dental dams to give away. I asked about the risk and they said it was more for STIs not HIV.

Then why didn't you accept your 3 month conclusive test result. Never mind, you give out the false info and I'll correct it for the people.

I respect the Dr.'s but they are just two individuals offering info for $'s, fine with me, but the other sources are national / international organizations, so i'll go with them on these things. Plus i learned this in school and again in college and it's still the same.

So i went back to the CDC & a few of the other major sites and they still say everything the same-dental damn -or- latex barriers need to be applied, ect, ect...so i'm still educated about how to protect myself & others...

In all the history of HIV. If no one has contracted HIV by going down on anyone it's NOT going to happen. Period End of Subject. HIV didn't just evolve this year. This has been going on almost 30 years. You don't believe in the 30 year history, that if HIV was transmitted in that fashion that all researchers and scientist wouldn't already know.

These things can't really be pin pointed, that's why the CDC says wear a dental damn-i  agree with you Teak, but there are people going down on hookers posting within the forum -or- women of unknown high-risk status, ect, so...just an added cautionary comment. I mean what about menstruel secretions being present? Plus all of the other bodily fluids? I'd say maybe, maybe not my friend-so then caution is in order.
