You have NOTHING to worry about! Your upcoming test will be negative and you can put all of this behind you!
Enjoy you last trimester! I hope you won't be like me an turn into the size of an ocean liner! LOL
Let me know how you're doing!
Warmly,
RubyWitch
Thank you, that gives me peace until I am tested by the end of the week.
I have been with the father of my baby on and off for the past 8 years, and I know for a fact his doctor tests him once a year. He told me he only slept with one person and it was protected, which I have no reason to doubt, our on and off relationship never had anything to do with cheating, we have always been open about it, it was always more about finances.
OMG! You're right! I'm SO sorry. I screwed up the math (I'm a little tired)
Then this is excellent because the test you took at 13 weeks post your last unprotected exposure was not only negative but 100% conclusive!
YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE HIV.
I rather hate to ask this, but you ARE 100% sure your ex was clean? That would be the only fly in the ointment as we'd have to use that date as your last unprotected exposure.
Again, I'm really sorry about my mathematical abilities.

Hi, it's actually 13 weeks between my last unprotected encounter in August and my test in December. Still any chances?
You had three unprotected encounters, the last one at the end of August. You then had a protected encounter.
You then had unprotected sex with your ex but you trust absolutely he is free of HIV and STD's.
You tested for HIV on December 10th, which was negative. While this test at approximately 9 weeks is not conclusive, it is an excellent indication of your status. A 12 week confirmatory test would have been 100% conclusive and it's extremely unlikely your status would have changed from the negative you received at 9 weeks. Any test you take now will be 100% conclusive.
As far as testing during your third trimester, it is just a blood draw so there is NO chance it will harm your baby. If you have any concerns, please talk to your OB/GYN.
I'm sure you'll be fine and congratulations about your baby!
I wish you the very best
RubyWitch
Yes, learned my lesson with this anxiety I have. I was mostly concerned about the unprotected situation, what would you think of the protected encounter I had? That was October 30th.
