Recent encounter I’m worried of hiv transmission? Please help!!

Hi I️ am a female . So about 2 months ago a friend of mine which is a guy I’ve known him for a while but basically this one particular day I️ was on my period and I️ had a tampon in. There was lots of frottage and rubbing going on, I️ was a bit under the influence but I️ remember everything from start to finish but basically we never had sex but he did actually apply pressure to my vagina entering but he never penetrated what so ever or is that considered penetrating? I’m not sure but he only had it stuck in Jus a tiny bit putting pressure against my tampon for about 4-5 seconds and after that I️ told him to stop and that was it . A few weeks later some girl that I️ know does not like me told my friend that he has HIV Idk whether to believe it or not but I’m gonna take it as he did and I️ wanna know am I️ at risk for hiv from the situation? PLEASE HELP me I’ve been worrying so much and im having problems with my doctor right now so it’s really driving me crazy please help.

Your question has been fully answered by our members that you did not have a risk for HIV from what you describe.  We wish you the best.

I agree with Diver58.  No cause for concern.  A penis has to penetrate in order to spread HIV.  Only ways people get HIV is through vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles---  because transmission has to take place INSIDE the body.  Air inactivates the virus.  So, you are all safe.

Thankyou very much , you don’t think any Pre-cum could have came out into my body tho within those seconds of him applying the pressure in me even tho I️ did have in a tampon but I’m jus concerned for any of his Pre-cum getting in me. Thankyou
Sorry for the bother but Idk how I️ also for got to mention that I️ got trichomoniasis from this situation , I️ read that u can get it from Precum jus touching the vagina, vulva and I️ jus wanted to make sure that’s true? Is hiv and this std spread the same? I’ve read that u have to get it from penetration but I️ read on planned parenthood u can get it from jus touching I️ jus wanted to Ben sure it just worries me

In your situation, there is no penetration so no risk. Precum though included in the infectious body fluids, its contact to an intact skin has no risk, and its  exposure to ambient oxygen inactivates the virus instantly
So your risk does not seem to exist

Thankyou this helps so much but I️ do have one more question my main fear is tht when he applied the pressure was there anyway any new Pre-cum came out n entered my body within those few seconds I️ seriously highly doubt it but I️ Jus have a huge concern that ain’t Pre-cum got into my body
Keeping your tampon in co.sideration, penetration is highly unlikely
Okay you’ve helped a lot thankyou
