Recurrent symptoms, stomach issues

Hello-
A month ago I had unprotected sex with a female friend of mine who...gets around. Two days after I started having flu-like symptoms, achiness, intermittent headache, painful swollen glands in my throat and groin, itchiness. I thought maybe I had gotten herpes but then a couple days later I had a single incident of diarrhea that was followed by 3 days of constipation. Since then (about 3 weeks now) I have gone back and forth between constipation and diarrhea. The flu-like symptoms went away, but I wake up every morning with my stomach growling and suddenly the glands in my crotch are burning again today andv I think I'm running a slight fever. My question is does this sound like typical HIV symptoms? I don't have insurance so I'm trying to decide if I just need to go to a clinic and get tested or if these symptoms are off the mark if I should just go to a GP. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. I'll get tested anyway and be more careful from now on. Thanks for your responses.

Your symptoms are not ARS symptoms.

I'm going to get tested. But 3 months is still 2 months away. My symptoms started after 2 days not 2 weeks. I've read enough of the forum to know I shouldn't self-diagnose, but I'm just curious if an onset 2 days after exposure is likely or if I'm looking at something else here. Thanks.

ARS symptoms if one has the come 2-4 weeks post exposure and lasts 1-2 weeks. They come at once and leave all at once. The only way to know your status is by testing. You can test 3 months post exposure to obtain your conclusive test result.
