Hi everyone,

I had protected sex with a CSW 8 weeks back.i believe the condom was intact throughout the act I hope I used it properly. But I have anxiety of HIV since I had the encounter.i never had fever, swollen nodes and other symptoms.but for three weeks I have red rashes which is not itchy appearing in my body predominantly in arms.i have met a dermatologist he prescribed an antibiotic but the rash dint subside.im deeply worried now thinking about acquiring hiv. Please anyone tell me whether I'm in danger and Wat does this rash actually means.

You had no risk for HIV with protected sex.  This skin issue is not related.  You should continue working with the dermatologist to figure it out but it's definitely not HIV since you had no risk.

Thanks Chima7 , you made me to relax a bit.but will anxiety cause this kind of skin rashes.I used to get boils before too but that will subside in a week, but this is prolonging for a while, this what makes me to worry...
There are any number of things that have nothing to do with HIV that would cause skin rashes. That's why you need to keep working with the dermatologist to figure it out. You do not have HIV because you did not have any risk. There is nothing left to add.
