Regarding OraQuick test Swabbing

Hello,

Today I used the OraQuick at-home HIV test. I only swabbed one side of my mouth. I did swap my upper and lower gums on that side using the two different sides of the absorbent material on the stick. I followed directions with everything else, just concerned about the swabbing. A dark line appeared next to the "C" (negative). I've read on several forums, if this does appear, then the test was done correctly. However, I want to know I've done the test correctly. Thoughts?

Also like to add, my sexual encounter was late November 2013, so it has definitely been at least 3 months. I'm feeling anxious.
