Risk about oral sex with a little bit bleeding gums

Dear everyone, I had an unprotected oral sex with a girl who had a little bit bleeding gums...about one week ago...and  i wonder if i had the risk to get the HIV....
first of all...There aren't any wounds on my penis...but a doctor told me that unprotected oral sex is also a kind of high-risk behaviour especially when the girl who were with the bleeding gums....i don't know what to do now..and feel very sad..
  Hope somebody help me please...thanks

The doctor who told you that is ill informed.  You didn't have a risk, bleeding gums or not.  Oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV.

Unprotected vaginal sex is a risk, oral is not,you were the receiver so there is absolutely zero risk for you.

BTW...dear Dr, which will be more dangerous between an oral sex with bleeding gums and an unprotected vagina sex?  i mean blood will carry more HIV virus than the vaginal secretions...since vagina sex will infect the HIV,why can't the oral sex with bleeding gums?? i just confused about this..i am from China..i am not good at English..it's sorry to ask u so many quetions with my broken English..Thank u Dr..

You don't need an HIV test, those 3 cases were givers not not receivers like you were.

OK, i got it...and now i didn't find some symptoms like high fever or sth.. but, unfortunately, i have got the nongonococcal urethritis...and i will check the HIV after 2 weeks...
So, next step for me is curing the  nongonococcal urethritis...and then check the HIV...Thank u~~

You would have to ask the CDC that but i believe it's no risk because there would be millions of cases reported by now and there just isn't.

There have only been 3 recorded cases of HIV transmission via oral sex in 30 years and they were giving oral.

Thank u for your reply...your words make me feel better now..
umm...i don't know what's the status in the U.S. but in China, oral sex is be treated as a way to get the HIV...by the government propaganda..
Though i know that there is no risk to get the HIV by the common oral sex, however, this time...the girl who were with bleeding gums make me fearsome...
Buddha bless me...i will never do sth like one night sex again..
   Thank u Doc~~
