Need your advice

I am a 28 yrs old male. I had protected vaginal sex with a female sex worker 11 weeks back that lasted for around 10 minutes and she was on me.  The condom did not break. 2 weeks post encounter i had a normal cold with low grade fever that got cured with prescribed antibiotics. (many other people in my locality had cold and fever during that time). Now for the last one week i have a 1cm swollen lymph node behind my right ear and my GP said its due to throat congestion that i am having. I didnt tell him about my protected sexual encounter with the prostitute of unknown STD status. Am i at risk of HIV?

You had NO RISK for HIV and DO NOT NEED TO TEST.

If you did NOT have unprotected oral sex, you NEVER had a risk for STD's

Your symptoms, as you stated yourself, were from the cold that was going around in your locality. The doctor diagnosed your swollen lymph node as being caused by throat congestion. Believe him. And believe me when I tell you that you do NOT have HIV.

One word of advice. NEVER hold information back from your doctor. If you're going to do that, why bother going at all.

No risk for HIV. Your symptoms are not related.
