No risk = no test. It was a non-incident.
This is absolutely zero concern for HIV. In a medical setting, you would need to plunge a needle that had a patient's blood inside of the vacuum syringe into yourself, and be lucky enough to push the syringe plunger down and have it enter your bloodstream. You're a long way from that happening.
You're never going to be infected via minuscule amounts of blood like the quantity that would be on a vaccine needle, no matter what.
Let me explain better...the needle never came in contact with me at all..when I pulled the needle out of her arm ..I think some of the left over flu shot may have hit my eye area..
