Rope at gym causes bleeding

I work.out at gym and I was doing shoulder press the.ropes rub.my skin and cause wounds I then got santizer n rub it into skin where wouds were ..is this a risk.for hiv?

Just to make sure the ropes cut into my skin and my blood was out and then I.santized did I expose myself to hiv..my blood was out

If hiv is spread like that, everyone in the world would be infected. You don't need to worry, you can't get hiv from shoulder press machine.

I got cuts from rope I saw my blood

Ok. Let's see....The possibility that someone have bled on that rope before you is probably zero. And even if someone did, HIV doesn't stay active when it leaves the body, so you can consider you are safe.

Most of us here are HIV anxious. Like yourself now...But be sure that HIV doesn't stay on objects even if there was blood on them...
