Sex with gf, 2 months straight, start without condom.

me and long distance girlfriend, she tested negative during her routine gyno(asked for hiv test too)

I got rapid test, negative. We have been having condom sex and then started to start without one but finish with one.

We did this for 2 months straight. When I got home again away from her (vacation over) 3 weeks later I started to have these symptoms like aching body, fatigue, 2 swollen lymph nodes,  no rash or fever though and it lasted a week.

I got a rapid blood test third gen 2 weeks after my symptoms cleared up and it was negative but still worried I got another test like 3 weeks later. Negative

Summary: both negative to start sexual relationship then started with no condom then used condom to finish. 3 weeks later I get symptoms from the last day we had sex out the 2 months we donethis method a lot.  hiv rapid from planned parenthood 84 days would cover the first month But not half the second.

if you feel anxious toward hiv and std infections why not contuning the use of condom coupled with routine blood test ?  in this case the negative test will make you at more ease if for example the condom breaks which may happen sometimes even rarely!!

We have been doing condoms forever and are exclusive so I thought it was time to ween off it since we both tested negative for 3 months before we started unprotected.  After a year or so like this we plan to have a baby. I kept reading mixed things online that you can still catch hiv even if both negative  because unprotected carries a risk 1 out of every couple thousand or something it’ll happen I ready on a forum. How do so many people have kids and not fear these couple chances is really crazy to me.
You read incorrectly. Two people who are HIV negative cannot infect each other. How exactly did you think that was possible? The virus doesn't just appear out of thin air! Someone has to be infected to infect the other person. Two negatives will never cause a positive! Think about it logically!
Thank you so much for clearing this up. I appreciate your answer. Thanks so much!!

Meant to comment like this:
It’s is good advice and thankful for it I just wanted to be more clear to avoid confusion.  I tested negative with standard 7 weeks from our last sexual act.

To be clear once and for all?
Ok, so if she was faithful I wouldn’t even need these tests right? Since we both negative post 3 months going into sex relationship.  I’m beginning to under more with your help. Thanks so much.

You were offered excellent insights by the forum,  you are not looking at it.  Symptoms do not mean a thing.  You have tested negative.  If you suspect your partner's loyalty there are loyalty tests for it.

If you feel, she has infected you, take a test at 4 weeks with a 4 Gen HIV test or alternatively at 6 week with any standard AB test.

Symptoms are indicative of nothing.  Only testing can tell

*The above testing timeframe applies from the last date of your unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse.

Yeah, I realize that my post is confusing. Before we started unprotected sex, we tested negative twice(3 months between test).  Then decided to start the unprotected sex.  3 weeks later I had some symptoms is why I was concerned because sounds similar to what early stages could be.

I tested again 3 weeks after symptoms and it was negative. Just wanted to know if the test rules out those specific symptoms.

2 more questions.

1. Is 84 days rapid test conclusive?

2. If both are negative at 3 months and no other risk, and have sex with each other without a condom but get symptoms exactly 3 weeks later, would this be Ars?

Thanks for taking the time for me. I don’t mean to be a bother.

1. Yes, so nothing else matters if you both tested neg at 84. Move on from HIV and stop examining your body trying to play a diagnosis doctor.

A duo is conclusive after 4 weeks and any other after 12. Following those guidelines is the only thing that is relevant in your situation. (Your self-diagnosed "symptoms" won't prove anything so no sense discussing them..
I can't figure some of what you said, so I need you to advise if she tested at the proper time.

Oh we tested 3 months apart before we started no condom stuff. This type of activity. I only started to get concerned because of the symptoms 3 weeks after the last sex.  I don’t have a real reason to think she would cheat since we live 7 hours apart but why would symptoms come up like that.  A duo does sound really good, hope it isn’t expensive.
