Small open cut query

Firstly, thank you for your time.

I went out with a few friends last night to a small local bar. I didn't get wasted, so have a good recollection.
On my left hand I noticed a small amount of sticky blood on one of my fingers, along the side of the nail. My query is, if I had an open cut in the same region, what is the risk exposure associated if the individual was HIV positive? I cannot recall having an open wound myself, but often I may have a bit of loose skin under the nail that can bleed at times as I can be fidgety.

Is it not obvious? Blood exposure on an open wound possesses a risk of HIV transmission if the individual is positive, correct? I am asking what the risk is. Apologies if I did not make that clear.
