Strains of HIV

Hello,
I have tested negative with the Home Access HIV test outside the window period (4 months).  I'm trying to find out if there are any strains of hiv which this test will not detect.  I tried calling them but the person I spoke to said she "thinks" it checks for them all.  I'm just worried that there are types which this test cannot detect.  If anyone can help me I would much apprectiate it.  Thank you

I'm sorry if I sound ignorant, but the antibodies to any of the strains would be detected by this test?  Thanks for your help.

The tests aren't looking for strains they are looking for antibodies.

But would this test be able to detect all of the strains that there are?  I understand that there are quite a few different ones.  I know its FDA approved, so does that mean it can pick up on any possible strain?
