Yeah never heard of a health person with a fever...maybe its a cold or flu??? Follow up with your Dr this is not HIV related.
If this is a no risk event...then for a 100% healthy person...to have swollen lymphnodes, fever, mild oral thrush...2 sores, rash that does not respond to anti-bacterial...indicating a viral infection...what else could this be. I have had the standard STD panel and all negative. So...please someone in all their wisdom and education assist me in this dilemma.
The 75 day antibody test would be a good indication, but you never had a risk from the incident above. So tests are meaningless for HIV based on the above incident.
Hello Vance. I understand that and my primary concern is HIV. I have spent $600 in HIV tests and am still concerned. I know you are a regular here and respect your knowledge. So in your opinion would a PCR at 70 days and HIV antibody at 75 days both negative be a reaffirming conclusive result to no HIV.
Talk to a dermotoligst, this is a HIV forum and that is all that is delt with here.
With 8 visits to the doctor...they are all mystified and continue to say it is jock itch. But jock itch does not develop fever and swollen lymphnodes. Why would a rash too be so resistant to treatment?
this is not a hiv concern. continue to work with your doctor
