Symptoms- Can they lie?

Hi ..I know I have been told that my exposure was a no risk exposure but the symptoms are scary. For 3 days I walked around spaced out and light headed, and then poof it was gone. Normal again. I now have a sore throat with white patches and what could be oral thrush. I also have, not a full blown rash, but sporadically appearing bumps. couple on my chest, a couple on my back and a few on my scalp. My face too is beginning to break out.  Ive lost 4 kgs (10 lbs) in 4 weeks as my appetite has halved. Went for dinner and was not able to even make inroads into my pork chop which i usually love. Dizziness and nausea. I have not had a fever yet, but for some reason it just seems inevitable. I am so anxious, and scared. One crazy stupid mistake in Amsterdam, and a life potentially ruined.

Have any one of you heard of replication of symptoms like this, and then tested negative?

Hi Nursegirl6572....Im sorry to harrass. But I am freaking out now. My face is starting to erupt with dispersed maculapopular appearances. Colorless, yet raised on skin. Not very visible until closely observed. Forehead has a prickly heat sort of rash taking place. I also have hair follicle eruptions on my scalp which appear to be pus filled. Im itchign all over. Psychosomatic.. I sur ehope so.
I know you have replied to my previous message with a reference to what the expert forums said, but that was a while before these eruptions have occurred. My question, does a full blown rash develop over days/ weeks or does it rapidly occour.
Im going to pieces....I have my 28 day test in 4 days, and i seem to be showing every symptom. Swollen glands, rash, no fever though

Please dont Ban me!...Please!. Im very very nervous.

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the procedures relating to health care in the UK.  Do you have a family doctor?  If so, that would be a good place to start, make an appt, and explain that your anxiety is getting the best of you, and that you would like to see a mental health professional.  I'm sure he/she will point you in the right direction.

Where can I seek professional guidance to help me with this sort of anxiety issues?

Im a stranger in a strange land. Just moved to Britain, and have limited resources to people to lean on. Just looking for some advice on how to deal with this situation.

Reread the MULTIPLE answers you received on the expert forum:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---Prevention/Amsterdam-Hell/show/2193843#post_10502199

There's nothing we could possibly add to that.  You were told over and over that your anxiety is getting the best of you, and that you do not have an HIV concern.

Your "symptoms" sound very much like they are anxiety related.  I would encourage you to get some professional guidance to address the anxiety.
