TEAK APO-PREDNISONE making thrush worst should i stop it?

Hello..Teak..i went to a neurologist yesterdays to find out what was causing my server headaches.they did a ct scan a lumber puncture and neck x-rays they didn't see any meningitis ,but they did see in the neck x-rays rheumatoid arthritis ,i already new this from my last doctors appointment .. anyways they said my neck was really swollen not sure but they think its the rheumatoid arthritis in the upper neck that's causing it..my question is i finally got my thrush under control it was down to the minimal still have it but very little...but they gave me 3 iv drips last night of cortisone(steroids) to try and reduce the swelling and headaches.this morning i woke up and my thrush is so bad again...and now they gave me apo-prednisone 4 5mg pills each day for the inflammation to take for 2 days my questions is should i take it..already my thrush is back allot..i,m afraid if i take it it will get out of control again..and i think the apo fluconzole and sporonax also were causing my server headaches as well..what do i do the headaches are so bad but this thrush is making me so sick as well..also when i,m taking ether treatment i feel nauseated all the time..i,m so feed up of feeling sick its been going on for 5 months now..do i take them and let my thrush go out of control again....is there any other treatment i can take without the side effects of apo fluconzole and sporonax ..i know i,m rambling allot on this teak and i cant imagine what your going though..but i am really sick and i,m so tired of feeling this way..they still don't know the underlining cause of the thrush and they think the rheumatoid arthritis is causing the headaches..it all started 6 months ago when i caught HSV-2 can this cause all these symptoms?..i cant find any answerers and spent thousands of dollars on doctors.. they keep taking x-rays of my stupid chest..and checking my heart and checking my white count which is 8.7..5 months 1 week HIV negative..i wont test anymore i know its not that..but  why cant i find out what it is..is it cancer? they also gave me antidepressionts but i,m afraids to take those to the phamasist said they will cuase dry month..do i takr those...what to do..its a visious cicle..i cant even get on with my life i use to train 5 days a week for the last 20 years and now i havent been in a gym for 6 months..i cant even work on the computor the screen keeps giving me headaches and that how i earn my living..what do i,m so lost..i,m not taking i think its hiv i,m just dont know what to say to doctors no more and i need referals all the time for specialist to see me and its even hard to get those..

Thanks teak..what do you think is causing my swollen nodes on left side..its really swollen..the predisone seems to be working hopefully it doesnt come back..the thrush is not so bad.i,m going to stop using the sporanax now and she id it returns or not.do you think i should retest or except the 5 month negative..

Sporanox is a brand name for itraconazole, can cause headaches and nausea. Make sure you are taking it with a full meal. Do not take it on an empty stomach without being told so by your doctor. You can take Tylenol for your headache. Your LP can also cause severe headaches. If you had drank strong coffee after you were allowed to get up from your LP you wouldn't have a headache. Weren't you told to discontinue the Apo-Fluconazole when you were prescribed Sporanox? It's not that it's going to hurt you. I was on 600mg a day of Sporanox. But I've never heard of anyone being prescribed that much for Thrush. Most all antidepressant will cause dry mouth. Do not discontinue the prednisone without the advice of your doctor. Noxafil, is the newest antifungal medication they have and that is what I'm on. It's 3600.00 a month.
