Hello - I am a 56 y.o male. I had oral sex with someone I met in a bar - on Feb 17th. FYI, I did not wear a condom, and received oral sex - i.e. my mouth did NOT have any contact with him, whatsoever. I had my blood tests done on July 28th, and the resluts were given to me on July 30th - CBC, HIV, Syphillis, Ganorrea, Chlamydia, and HSV-I & II.
All results came out negative. For HIV the results were as follows:
LabCorp Test Panel: 083824
HIV 1/O/2 Abs ICMA
1) HIV 1/O/2 Abs, Index Value < 1.0, and
2) HIV 1/O/2 Abs, Qual Non Reactive
As I understand there are many types of HIV tests, and I am not sure if I need to do any other test before I can confirm this negative result. Do I need to take any more tests? I would very much appreciate your answer.
