regularjoey is correct. I had viral orchitis early in the year (and they way they determined it was viral, not bacterial, was though a urinalysis checking for G/C among other things). The rest, as joey mentions, is through a blood test.
There is a social stigma surrounding HSV; essentially it's just a glorified skin condition. HPV isn't much of a concern for guys (can be for females). Untreated syph is a concern. Who cares about the rest.
Urine test is usually used for G/C screening. HIV, syphilis and HSV-2 are definitely detected by a blood test. Try the other forum
