To-Teak and others

I had vaginal sex with a SW (with protection)on 15th July 2012, On 18th July I had a swelling on a lymph node (Possible Submandibular gland) right under the jaw clubbed with a swelling in the gum behind my front teeth.I experienced no fever,no rash or other swollen lymph nopde but did experience chills (twice) from 18th July-3rd August'12. On 3rd Aug, I was put on anti-biotics and by 12th aug, the swelling onthe lymph node had gone and gum swelling also was gone. On 15th aug'12, I had salivary glands swollen on both sides and severe pain in inner thighs, arms and buttocks during the night(no fever,no rash no white tongue).by 17th Aug,I only had swelling on a lymph node right under the jaw with muscle ache all over the bodywent to ENT, he said it was mumps though i dont beleive him. . Its 1st sep today,I have no body ache, no muscle ache but a swelling on the right neck lymph node which alternates from right neck to left at times and causes pain the ear during eve/night. The swelling on the lymph node or submandibular gland under the jaw is persistent. Can it be HIV? Pl. help I am so worried and havent got myself tested.

Although I do understand that I have been warned by MH and cannot re-post the question.Sir, My lymph node is still the same (Swollen) on the right side under the neck. My wife this morning complained of sore throat and cold. I know you have told me a zillion times that I have had no exposure.

I have read in my sites that enlargement of lymph node or salivary gland is an indication of HIV (confirmed by doctors worlwide) also every now and then, I have slight muslce ache (comes and goes),slight pain in the arm pit. I am very very scared. Pl. dont throw me out of the site.

All my symptoms showed up only post encounter with CW. These are not anxiety driven at all.

Pl. help

You never had an exposure. Whatever is going on with you has nothing to do with HIV.

But I did have symptoms such as swollen salivary glands, severe muscle ache in arms and legs and shooting pain in the inner thighs which lasted for 2-3 days. Although I dont have any muscle ache now, but i do have a swollen submandibular gland that alternates between right and left side of the neck and gives pain in the ear. so what can it be? I am sorry for troubling you but whats your thought on my condition.

No it is not possible. ARS symptoms if one has them come 2-4 weeks post exposure and last 1-2 weeks.

alright. I know this can be a irritating, I am sorry in advance. But trust me, I have never had this problem in my life. All of a sudden post my encounter with SW, I had swollen lymph node, post taking anti-biotics, I still have a slight swelling in my submandibular node which causes pain in the ear and doesnt seem to go away. Like i said earlier, one day its the left node which swells up and the next day its the right node that swells up so it alternats. Pls pls pls pls tel me what it is..
Are my symptoms not of HIV?
