HIV Infection Doubt

Dear Doctor Greeting!!
I am feeling anxiety and fear with one of hypothetical situation.

On 5th August I had a late night call with my Client. Suddenly I feel ejaculation of semen(nightfall) from me as I was in call so I wasn’t able to went to wash it. So, for meanwhile I found one discarded handkerchief near by me, but it was little bit wet. I had put that handkerchief to my underwear so that It will not smell, and everything goes to handkerchief.
After 4-5 mins I had removed that handkerchief and wiped my upper part of my penis with that handkerchief. On that night everything went right.
After 2-3 days I start worried why that handkerchief was wet? and was that Handkerchief from our house? Then I asked same question to my wife, she confirmed me that Handkerchief is our and that was wet because I put some water to wipe something.
But I am anxious about situation if she is wrong and may be her situation was done on some other day and someone had thrown that handkerchief into my balcony after wiping this semen’s into that handkerchief and My wife had picked that cloth while picking other cloth.

So, please let me How much time HIV can survive in handkerchief? Suppose in worst case there 3-4 mins gaps between all these activities?
Is there any chance of HIV infection, if some put infected handkerchief near to penis for 4-5 mins and then wiped upper part after it?

I was trying to get answer from googling in internet, but I really get upset and totally confused me
Now worst case scenario is coming to my mind, was anything was missed.

Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  (handkerchief, fluids etc. which is not a risk for hiv.) No worries, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the worst that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event.

Thanks for response!!

It's fear of HIV.  Even I know that handkerchief belong to my home as I touched and cleaned my private area for few mins.  Due to fear of HIV, thoughts are coming, If we are missing something as every handkerchief  looks like similar and someone has thrown it with Semen.

May be due to fear, to me it look like sex only, if in handkerchief Semen was wet and I used to for few mins and virus can enter with my Penis while cleaning.

Just for knowledge, I just want to know your views as from searching in internet I got totally confused.

It is written only drying can kill HIV virus and in-wet form HIV virus are still active. No where it is written any particular duration when a virus will inactivate.
So by any mean apart from Sex/Drug use, if wet semen/blood/vaginal fluid comes into contact of private part(i.e. Cleaning private part with cloth with semen, by mistake wearning someone else underwear with semen).  Still virus can come with private as touched with these fluid like Sex only.

For me tension is I  touched it with my Penis which different from other skins.
1.Please share me your though regarding wet form of HIV fluid outside body?
2. You do think it good to have yearly check of HIV without having any risk factor.

Hiv prevention is straightforward because there are only 3 ways to get hiv. Any time you wonder if you had a risk ask yourself if you did any of the 3 and after you answer no, then tell yourself you can't have hiv and then be happy  and enjoy your young life.
