Unprotected sex persistent symptoms really scared
Hello experts I had unprotected vaginal sex with street prostitute some 5 months before..two weeks after that I got sore throat and fever for 1 week..then I got pains in my both legs from knees upto soles..my soles are burning and paining like hell when I sleep along with knee pain..this is persistent from last 4 months..the pain is so severe that I haven't slept from last 4 months..I took my last test day before yesterday on 20th week after exposure by 4th generation elisa..it came back negative..are there any chances that my 5 months negative test will turn positive later?if no then why am I having this severe symproms from last 4 monrhs?
Kindly reply to my last question....my arthritis after sexual exposure is really making me sick..my life has became hell....I have taken 8 fourth generation tests upto 5 months..in between I took dna pcr test at 6 weeks and rna quant pcr by taqman which detects upto 48 copies after 3 months....according to american assosiation of rheumatology arthritis is very common in people infected with hiv..I have got symmetrical arthritis from last 5 months after exposure... .cause is still unknown....please advice :(....
I just wanted to ask that does hiv causes symmatrical joint pain?that are on both sides with redness on soles ankles....if yes than why my 20 week hiv test came back negative?I have readen that most people with hiv will have multiple joint pains....it is written In american assosiation of rheumatology and also it can be first manifestation of hiv..my joint pain is also symettrical and from last 5 months..

You'd have to talk to the moderators. Thanks for caring and replying nursegirl..I have taken 2 appointments with 2 different psychatrists in india..their treatment isn't working also....:(..if it wud be anxiety stress related issue than it must have been resolved in therapy and medicines which both psychatrists gave me..:(..can anxiety stress cause this much of pain and redness and swelling in my soles ankles feet knees?if anxiety can raise my esr and crp levels and gives swelling than i will forger everything and bear this pain without diagnosing..this is my last question to u sis...

Is my 20 weeks negative good enough to rule out hiv?and does any other stds cause this persistent symptoms?I haven't checked for chlamydia and gono yet...rest I hv checked for hiv hepatitis b and c and syphillis

I have tested for syphillis too after 3 months..that was also negative :(..I don't know which stds other than hiv causes pain and burning sensation from last 4 months....expert advice will be greatly appreciated
U should test for other STDs too. Syphillis can cause similar sympthoms too. A test after 5 months would b 100% conclusive.
I am really trying to move on with my life but this persistent burning and pain from 4 months makes me unable to believe my results :(....I also having abnormal esr and crp values which elevates because of infection....my life has became hell....
