Was this a risk?

On Friday night I went to a strip club, had a couple of hour long dances. The stripper would have touched herself, and I was on a leather couch where I think more than just strip shows may have happened.

My concern is that I had a cut on my finger, several hours old and no longer bleeding. Also the stripper kissed my lips.

On the Monday morning I had a head cold and felt quite poor all over, on Wednesday now I still feel a bit groggy.

Was this a risk of HIV? I read before that symptoms only start 10-14 days after an exposure anyway so either ways would these flu-like symptoms be something to ignore?

Thanks

Hi,
Sorry to bring this up again, I just had a follow up question for your consideration please.
My ear infection has just cleared. I understand that it isn't an ARS symptom.
On my checkup for the ear I found out I also had a throat infection, and that an ear infection may have spread from that.
As sore throat is a symtom, would it cause you to revise your opinion, especially considering the timing?
Thanking you

you had NO risk, so there is absolutely NO REASON for you to keep trying to connect every sore throat, sniffle, etc that you have to hiv.

Unfortunately I have to repeat my self again "You do not have HIV concern. Go and see your GP if you have any health issues."

It is now 13 days since the event I talked about, and I am on antibiotics for my ear infection. Today I have had a sore throat all day, despite being on the medication. As this is an ARS symptom would it change your mind about the event?

Thanks for the response. I rarely have ear problems which is why this has freaked me out.

Hi,
I hate to bring this back up, I just have a follow up question I hope someone can answer.

It is now 10 days later, I have  sore earache (I have had it for a couple of days now) in one of my ear canals. No other symptoms. Would this add to the concern I raise above, and is it even consistent with ARS?

Thank you so much

HIV becomes inactive as soon as it is exposed to air and therefore is unable to infect you. You're safe.
