Was told I had a non risk exposure...

Hi all, I was told my 2 exposures were no risk, one being having unknown status semen enter a penile herpes sore and one was having unknown status semen enter a minor non-bleeding 8 hour cut. I never tested but now approx. 3 years later I am having kaposi-like spots appearing on my body. Deep red flat painless marks, one in my underarm and one on my glutes. Should I be concerned? Any info is appreciated, thank you.

Just reviewed my medical records and it's only been about a year and a half since my encounter, not almost three years. Maybe I am over-reacting. Thanks everyone for your replies.

You don't have KS either.

HAART would be irrelevant since I was told I was non-risk I am not medicated. I've read in the living with forum of a person being diagnosed ks after only one year. I suppose my only question is would any other symptoms be present and what else is visibly similar to ks? This is only to ease my worries before I am examined.

KS happens in late stages in HIV and it's very rare for it to happen since HAART.

Agree, what else would present itself as such? and would any other symptoms be occuring if it was in fact ks? Any help is deeply appreciated.

And the first thing you could think of is HIV??? It could be anything else but HIV. See your doctor if you've got other health concerns.
