my test is Elisa/antibody not DUO, Teak.
So what is the main purpose of DOU test? It's justonly  for detecting infection earlier, right?

If you test negative with a DUO test at 3 months you don't have HIV.

If you tested negative after 3 months with an ELISA antibody test then you don't have HIV.

Condom failure is not high risk. You were protected until the condom failed. High or Low, a risk is a risk. If you test after 4 weeks the antigen part of the duo test would not be conclusive. As with any HIV test the only conclusive test is one taken 3 months post exposure. DUO tests cannot detect HIV 2 any earlier than a straight antibody test.

I took a hiv test at Austech Lab in CanleyHeight, Aus but that is antiody test not combo . I really make me annoy although the result is negative. They told me combo test isn't available in their Lab. it really annoyed me cause i hoped Combo test.
