Which is the best test????

If a person cannot wait for 3 months after getting infected by HIV for the ELISA test....then which is the best test which can inform his/her about the HIV status may be within 2 or 3 days after getting infected.....??

3 months is when you can obtain a conclusive negative test period..

I have heard that HIV DNA test is effective after 72 hrs of getting infection from HIV....is that true.....??

You heard wrong. PCR DNA are not diagnostic tests. They are monitoring test for people that ARE HIV positive. You have to wait it out.

But i went to Ranbaxy Laboratories may be within 3-4 days...that man there told me that if u go through HIV DNA test then it will be effective within 72 hrs and u will get your exact HIV status...and I went through that test....and it came negative....it was written in report that HIV DNA not detected....m confused????

So I have to wait for 3 months....??
Is there any way out so that i can get informed about my HIV status as soon as possible....because I feel I m experiencing HIV symptoms???

Yes you have to wait 3 months. No ands,buts or ifs. 3 months...

if the test is hiv dna detector  then its prety resuering but you still have to follow it up with a antibody test at 3 months as teak said dna test is not fda aproved for early  detection of hiv and out here you wont get much of advice out off the rule books , but the 3 months antibody result wont be any different than the pcr test that is what i personally  feel any way goodluck

MOVE ON. PCR DNA tests are not appoved diagnostic tests and PCR-RNA tests are supplemental tests.
